And so the wheel of politics turns.
We really have only one party — the Republocrats (or Demicans, if you prefer). They simply split themselves into two pseudo-factions so that people can feel good about “voting the bastards out” whenever they get fed up with the current administration. It’s really a sweet deal when you think about it. And remember, kids, if you vote independent it’s the same as throwing your vote away.
We have the Laberils and the Libours and truckloads of “wasted” independent votes which muck up the senate so very little gets through.
We dont know if we’re Arthur or Martha (or Freddie or Fanny) because the “gay’s” weild a big stick and plenty of punch! (They may soon be a majority)
The Green’s are Brown and the Wongs are never Wite (You have to be “Down under”)
Times are a changin’
I see him as trying to navigate a big nasty poorly designed but well armored tank covered with rust and patches through a road maze with giant pot holes and mine fields. I think it is going to be hard to turn that thing around or navigate toward the light. I do however still believe justice has a better chance now though, because of Obama, than it has had in decades. Patience can burn holes in your sense of fairness – but moving too quickly without considering all the facts can create unexpected explosions.
The Repbulicans are far, far worse than the Democrats and the Democrats aren’t any better!
