Maybe you’re allergic to meditation, if things keep itching?

  2. Ed. says:

    Yes, I’m allergic to myself.

  3. Christine says:

Boy this toon is familiar to me. I’ve taken to keeping a notepad nearby when I meditate or whatever, to write down things so I can kinda let them go from my mind. Like….Oh I gotta check the internet for …about a million things.

  4. Teena says:

Accept the onset of forgetfulmess with calm resignation.
    You are not alone.

Still your mind, connect your index fingers to your thumbs and trust your “mind files” will respond.

    Exercise your memory.
I hear crosswords are good (puzzles, not swearing)
If all else fails, have a good lie down.
    Use it, dont lose it.

    Mediation at 40 mph…

I meditated tonight driving home in a snowstorm

The background chatter that usually distracts me was gone, just gone.

    I wonder where it went.

The wheels turning between me and the ice and the passing semis and the blowing shards of white were my dharma.

That I made it home seems to have been my karma.

I was “In the Moment” for a little over an hour, with only my breathing and my beating heart for punctuation.

So yeah, Rev, that’s one way to empty the ol’ thought balloon. If this winter keeps happening you might get to try that meditation too!
