    Meditation?
Thich Nhat Hanh used to say, Hello in your inhale and goodbye in your exhale; that’s the truth of meditation.

Too much talk about it, I believe is wrong-headed!!

Meditation is focus in being Now, living in this moment. Why make a fuss?

Emptying the mind means it is open to peace and tranquility.
    I just don’t do it enough…………………

Since you mention Ommmmmmmmm, I have to tell you that back in the day when Chuck and Lucky and I were in New Orleans — Luck says this was ’71 — there was a new age / spiritual outfit with a storefront. Note that this is small “n”, small “a” new age, before that sort of floated off into the middle distance and became New Age. But I digress. These folks had a storefront where you could hang out, which was good for us no fixed abode types. They were convinced that “Om” (or “Aum”) had been the sound of the universe during the Age of Pisces and now that we were entering the next one (guess which), the universe was making a new sound, “Oia”, pronounced “OI-YAH” and chanted with a rise on the second syllable.
